Online booking for a barbershop or hair salon: where to start
A practical guide to moving a barbershop or hair salon to online booking: services, schedules, prices, the Instagram link and the first week.
Moving to online booking sounds like a big project, but it's really a handful of clear tasks. Here's where to start.
1. List your services
Give every service a duration and a price. Be realistic: if a cut with beard takes 75 minutes, don't put 60 — or the whole day runs late.
2. Enter staff schedules
Every stylist or barber has their own hours, breaks and days off. The system will only show clients time that is genuinely free.
3. Import your clients
If you have a client list in Excel or on your phone, import it — you'll see visit history from day one.
4. Tell your clients
- Booking link in your Instagram and Facebook bio.
- A QR code at the counter and on business cards.
- A link in your Google Business profile.
- A message to your regulars.
5. The first week
In the first days some clients will still call — that's normal. Book them in the system yourself and mention they can book online next time. Within a month most will book on their own.
Even simpler with LaikuGO
We enter your services, staff and clients, tailor the design to your brand and launch the system on your domain. All that's left is to share the link.
